Otomastoiditis and enlarged vestibular aqueducts

Presentation

History of deafness, with acute otitis media.

Patient Data

Age: 4 years
Gender: Male

Axial and coronal CT of temporal bone reveal complete opacification of the left middle ear and mastoid air cells associated with mucosal thickening of the right tympanic cavity. Large bilateral vestibular aqueducts ( left > right) and adenoidal enlargement exist.
