A pelvic mass is identified between the uterus and the rectum of heterogeneous density (calcifications, fat), located posterior to the uterus, with well-defined borders.
Case Discussion
Ovarian teratomas include mature cystic teratomas (dermoid cysts), immature teratomas, and monodermal teratomas (e.g, struma ovarii, carcinoid tumors).
