Ovarian endometrioma

Presentation

Single lady with history of blood disease thrombocytompenia.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female
mri

There is a small cystic lesion in right ovary, appears hyperintense in t1_vibe, and hypointense in T2W images, and shows no suppression in t1_vibe in/opp sequences. 

Also noted others two subcentimeter hyperintense lesions in the same ovary.

There is a small cystic lesion in close relation to uterine cervix, appears hypointense in T1W and hyperintense in T2W, marginal wall enhancement in t1_vibe post contrast

Case Discussion

Right ovarian cyst hyperintense in T1W and hypointense in T2W, not suppressed in/opp sequences, likely endometrioma cyst.

Small cystic lesion in close relation to the uterine cervix is suggestive of Nabothian cyst.
