Presentation
Palpable pelvic mass on physical exam.
Patient Data
A 138×66×116 mm thick walled septate cystic lesion with enhancing mural nodules is seen in the pelvis. The ovaries couldn’t be defined separately from the mentioned lesion.
A few prominent lymph nodes are seen in bilateral parailiac regions. Several enlarged lymph nodes are observed in the para aortic areas with SAD less than 20 mm.
Case Discussion
Pelvic complex cystic lesion with parailiac and para aortic enlarged lymph nodes.
The patient underwent mass resection, and histopathology findings confirmed ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma, a rare malignant ovarian mucinous tumor, and a type of ovarian epithelial tumor.
