Presentation

Abdominopelvic pain and distension.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
ct

A 242×194×95mm fluid filled thick-walled solitary cystic lesion with homogeneous content arising from pelvis and extending until the level of renal hilums. An 18mm papillary projection and few septations are noted at left lateral aspect of the cyst. The cystic lesions seems to be originated from right ovary. 

Case Discussion

Typical case of ovarian serous cystadenoma (path proven) which is a type of benign ovarian epithelial tumor at the benign end of the spectrum of ovarian serous tumors.
