Case Discussion
Paget disease of the bone (also known as osteitis deformans) is a chronic bone disorder characterized by excessive abnormal bone remodeling. It can affect up to 4% of individuals over 40 and up to 11% over the age of 80 years.
This case shows it in a less common location in the distal fibula.
