Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

A 35 x 20 mm ill-defined low-enhancing mass is noted at pancreatic body causing distal pancreas atrophic changes and duct dilatation. The mass partially encases splenic artery but does not obstruct it. Mild peripancreatic fat stranding and a few small regional lymphadenopathy are also observed.
The hepatic attenuation value is less than of the spleen, suggesting fatty liver. Additionally, a 10 mm cyst is noted in segment VI of the liver.
A 15 mm simple cortical cyst is present in the left kidney.

Pancreatic mass , path proven pancreatic adenocarcinoma, with vascular encasement and small regional lymphadenopathies.
