Abdominal pain and dyspepsia.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

An ill-defined hypodense non-enhancing mass occupying the pancreatic head and causing moderate dilatation of the main pancreatic duct and mild dilatation of the CBD and intrahepatic biliary radicals.

Case Discussion

Pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma was found in the histological specimen. Compression or infiltration of the ampulla of Vater resulted in dilatation of pancreatic and biliary ducts.
