Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

Presentation

Abdominal pain, vomiting and fatigue. Ultrasound revealed hepatic focal lesions.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

An ill defined hypodense hypoenhancing focal lesion is noted at the pancreatic uncinate process associated with smudging of the adjacent peripancreatic fat planes and multiple right hepatic lobe hypodense focal lesions consistent with metastatic deposits.

Case Discussion

Histopathology revealed pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma of stage T3N0M1. No evidence of vascular invasion or encasement.
