Avidly enhancing well-defined lesion in the head and uncinate process of the pancreas, causing distal pancreatic atrophy of the body and tail with main pancreatic duct dilatation. No dilated CBD or intrahepatic biliary tree is seen.
Surgical clips at the site of previous left nephrectomy. No abnormal soft tissue in the surgical bed.
Several prominent retroperitoneal lymph nodes.
Case Discussion
Patient with nephrectomy for RCC with hypervascular lesion in the head of the pancreas. Proven histologically to be an RCC met rather than an islet cell tumor.
