Paradoxical middle turbinate

Coronal reconstructed images in bone window shows an inverse curvature of the right middle turbinate. Notice a slight leftward deviation of nasal septum.
No complication i.e. sinusitis or osteomeatal complex obstruction evident.
Note is made of calvarial thickening.
Case Discussion
Paradoxical middle turbinate is a developmental anomaly. If encountered incidentally, it rarely produces any sinus complications hence no further treatment is necessary.
