Presentation

Primigravida with brownish discharge during the first trimester.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Ultrasound shows a distended uterine cavity by the enlarged placenta that shows extensive internal cystic spaces with snowstorm appearance along with an irregular gestational sac containing a small nonviable embryo that has been compressed and displaced by the molar placenta.

Color Doppler exam was done and showed slightly increased vascularity.
