Bone fragment lying medially within the joint. Irregular medial patella surface indicating the source of the fragment. Large joint effusion with the bone fragment projected between the patella and femur.
Case Discussion
Lateral dislocation of the patella has resulted in an osteochondral fragment being separated from the medial surface of the patella as it struck the lateral femoral condyle.
