Stab injury to left lower abdomen

Patient Data

Age: Young adult
Gender: Male

Delayed phase CECT

ct

Delayed acquisition following contrast administration to evaluate the ureters and urinary bladder.

No ureteric or bladder injury. but the bladder is compressed laterally leading to its odd shape, similar to a pear. The cause here is an extraperitoneal hematoma secondary to venous injury.
