Pelvic kidney

CTA for PAN. Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Pelvic right kidney. The right renal artery arises from the anterior wall of the aortic bifurcation. The right renal vein courses superiorly to drain into the medial wall of the IVC well below where the left renal vein joins the IVC. The ureter and VUJ are normal.
