Peritoneal inclusion cyst

Presentation

History of previous cesarean section and chronic lower abdominal pain with a feeling of fullness.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
mri

There is a large thin-walled cystic lesion occupying the pelvis and lower abdomen insinuating between the surrounding structures with multiple enhancing thin septation, both ovaries are invaginated into the cyst without a clear connection to the cyst.
No enhancing mural nodule is noted within the mentioned cyst or restricted diffusion.

Case Discussion

In the siting of the previous history of abdominal surgery in a premenopausal period and imaging findings of the septated cystic structure without enhancing nodule, restricted diffusion, thick wall or soft tissue mass, so peritoneal inclusion cyst should be kept in mind.
