Incidental finding of a persistent metopic suture associated with frontal sinus agenesis.
Case Discussion
Metopic sutures is usually obliterated by about 7 years of age but may persist as an anatomical variant with probable associated frontal sinus agenesis or hypoplasia.
It has a characteristic midline position and demonstrates sutural interdigitations which differentiate it from frontal bone fracture.
