Case Discussion

CT through the gallbladder demonstrates an incomplete fold across the fundus with densities lying dependently within the gallbladder presumably representing gallstones. Alternatively, this morphology of the gallbladder can represent a normal fold of the gallbladder wall, which is known as a Phrygian cap, which should not be mistaken for pathology.
