Presentation

Short stature and absence of secondary sexual characteristics.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Minimal anterior pituitary gland tissue, absence pituitary stalk, and bright spot in T1W images is seen in the hypothalamus anterior to mammillary bodies.

Case Discussion

Small anterior pituitary gland, ectopic posterior pituitary and absent pituitary stalk suggestive of pituitary stalk interruption syndrome.
