Placenta previa and accreta

Presentation

G9 P7+1 pregnant lady GA 32 weeks with placenta previa for evaluation. There is a history of 4 prior Cesarian sections.

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Pregnancy

The placenta is posterior in location and covers the cervical internal os completely consistent with complete type or type 4 placenta previa.

At the lower portion of the uterus the placenta has invaded the myometrium resulting in placenta increta. More irregularities and invasion of myometrium is seen toward the fundus associated with increase vascularity highly suspicious for placenta percreta.
