Presentation

Antenatal scan at 20 weeks. Prior scans normal. Primi gravida.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

A vascular heteroechoic lesion in the substance of placenta which appears focally bulky.

Case Discussion

Chorioangioma is one of the commonest benign lesion of placenta, and may be noticed routinely if particularly looked for.
