Presentation

Non-traumatic bilateral planter bumps for 2-3 years.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Bilateral hypoechoic, well-defined lesions inseparable from plantar fascia away from calcaneal insertion site. Vascularity noted on power Doppler.

Plantar fibromatosis (or Ledderhose disease) refers to a benign fibroblastic proliferation of the plantar fascia. It is classified as a type of superficial fibromatosis.
