Construction worker attended the clinic with abdominal enlargement.
Patient Data
Irregular circumferential nodular pleural thickening that involves the costal, mediastinal and diaphragmatic pleura on the right side with associated reduced volume of the right lung.
Regarding the abdomen there is multiple areas of encysted peritoneal collections some of them seen along the hepatic surfaces as well as areas of peritoneal thickening and omental cake along the left lateral peritoneal reflection.
Case Discussion
Pleural and peritoneal mesothelioma may occur synchronously especially in a patient with risk factor as our patient which has long history of asbestos exposure used in construction materials.
