CT chest

Pleural effusion with right lower lobe atelectasis.  Presence of masses and pleural thickening. Left lung of aspect preserved. Mediastinum without significant alterations. Normal tracheo bronchial tree

Case Discussion

Pleural thickening consistent with pulmonary metastases of unknown primary tumor.

Typically the primary is an adenocarcinoma, such as from the lung or stomach.
