Known case of iron deficiency anemia presented with weight loss and progressive dysphagia.

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Multiple smooth tapered concentric narrowing of the cervical esophagus in keeping with esophageal webs.

Case Discussion

Upper GI study demonstrates multiple upper (cervical) esophageal constrictions consistent with esophageal webs. Giving the clinical presentation and demographic, the diagnosis is consistent with Plummer-Vinson syndrome.
