Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Female
mri

Large cystic lesion, following CSF signal intensity in all sequences in the left frontoparietal lobe, communicating with left lateral ventricle consistent with a porencephalic cyst. 

Bony remodeling of the adjacent calvarium with mild left descending transtentorial herniation.  

Gliotic areas adjacent to the cystic lesion in the left parietal lobe. 

Partial atrophy and hyperintensity involving the left thalamus, posterior limb of the left internal capsule and left cerebral peduncle consistent with Wallerian degeneration.
