Multiple cerebellar ring enhancing lesions with central dot sign.
Ventricular shunt with decompressed ventricles, but evidence of brain stem herniation and loss of normal cerebellar signal.
Case Discussion
The patient was treated for undiagnosed hydrocephalus by a shunt tube. He continued to have symptoms. He had MRI with contrast agent. The posterior fossa was studded with multiple ring enhancing lesions with a central dot. He also had tonsillar herniation and he died within few days of admission.
