Vaginal bleeding.
Patient Data
Abnormal signal intensity (low on T1 and high on T2FS) infiltrating enhancing mass arising from the lower half segment of the vaginal wall mid to anterior part.
Bilateral metastatic iliac and inguinal lymphadenopathy.
Abnormal bone marrow signal intensity with soft tissue component involving the right ischial tuberosity and inferior pubic ramus.
Urinary bladder invasion.
Uterus and ovaries appear unremarkable.
Case Discussion
Microscopy:
Sections show neoplastic tissue composed of sheets and nests of squamoid tumoral cells with pleomorphic vesicular nuclei and distinct nucleoli. Foci of necrosis and invasion of the stroma are also present. Suspicious vascular invasion is noted as well.
Diagnosis: Squamous cell carcinoma. Suspicious vascular invasion
