Pseudo-Jones fracture

There is a transverse complete fracture in the base of proximal fifth metatarsal bone reaching the articular surface. Additionally, os peroneum is noted.

A pseudo-Jones fracture describes a common avulsion fracture of the 5th metatarsal styloid process that extends to articular surface.
Distinguishing Jones and pseudo-Jones fractures is important because the latter has a good prognosis and is usually treated non-operatively.
