Case Discussion
With a negative history of trauma, this appearance is considered one of the normal variants of the chest wall, also called Srb anomaly. It is an anatomic variant of the ribs, in which there is partial to complete bony ankylosis of two ribs, commonly the first and second ribs. It is commonly unilateral.
