Diffuse nodular thickening of the colon with fat stranding, compatible with extensive pseudomembranous colitis. The colon is dilated, mainly near the hepatic angle, up to 7.8 cm. Important mucosal enhancement of the entire colon is also seen. Moderate ascites. Bilateral pleural effusions.
Case Discussion
Stool cultures were positive for Clostridioides difficile.
