Case Discussion

A harmatoma probably derived from mesenchymal cells of the bronchial wall, characterized by the presence of various tissues within them, including adipose, cartilage, rarely bone and smooth muscle cells, and there are sometimes bronchial epithelial cells outbreaks. It often has polycyclic ring-shaped calcific areas in the peripheral regions and louder and irregular calcifications in the central region, and this particular gives the hamartoma that characteristic conformation to the standard chest x-ray that makes the so-called "pop corn" morphologically assumed.
