A peripheral solitary pulmonary nodule is noted in subpleural space of the anterior right upper lobe segment measuring about 1.0 cm with a fat density within suggestive of hamartoma.
No other suspicious lesions in the rest of studies.
Case Discussion
A known case of prostate cancer with no definite suspicious distant metastasis. A solitary subpleural nodule at anterior segment of right upper lobe demonstrates that parts of it are of fat density. Features are consistent with a pulmonary hamartoma. Follow-up has demonstrated no change in size over about 1.5 years.
