Pulmonary hamartoma

Presentation

Dyspnea and chest pain. Abnormal chest radiograph

Patient Data

Age: 61 years old
Gender: Male
ct

A well defined lobulated soft tissue mass is seen occupying the anterior basal segment of left lower lobe and shows popcorn calcification and no significant enhancement. No fat could be identified within the lesion.

Case Discussion

The lesion shows minimal change in the size over years denoting its benign nature. The imaging features are conclusive of benign looking lesion mostly hamartoma.
