From anal verge, extending 3.0 cm superiorly in anorectum, is an eccentric mural enhancing neoplasm 16 mm thick with left anterolateral transmural involvement. Two subcentimetric discrete lymph nodes seen in posterior mesorectum. No other pelvic or abdominal lymphadenopathy.
Case Discussion
Biopsy-proven rectal adenocarcinoma demonstrated here as eccentric mural thickening, well depicted using neutral bowel contrast.
