Large, exophytic heterogeneous rounded and well-defined right renal mass, arising from its upper pole, predominantly of fat attenuation. The lesion measures 4.5 x 4.5 x 5 cm, mostly in keeping with a renal angiomyolipoma.
Another two small lesions of the same appearance are seen adjacent to the large mass.
Case Discussion
Typical renal fat-containing lesion discovered incidentally during an abdominal ultrasound examination. When an AML has typical appearances there is essentially no differential.
