Diagnosis probable
  • well punched-out juxta-articular erosions; particularly along the capsulo-ligamentous attachments
  • marked synovial / capsular hypertrophy rather than joint effusion
  • non-existent to insignificant bone and soft-tissue edema
  • enlarged axillary lymph nodes are an incidental finding
