Myelination is complete.
Normal cortical and deep grey matter. Normal white matter. Normal midline structures (including pituitary and corpus callosum).
Absent vermis and failure of cleavage of the two cerebellar hemispheres - appearance of rhombencephalosynapsis.
Case Discussion
Isolated, uncomplicated rhombencephalosynapsis.
