The coraco-humeral ligament (rotator interval roof) is thickened eliciting low T1, intermediate T2 and high PDFS signals.

Osteoarthritic changes of the acromio-clavicular joint with narrowed joint space, irregularity and small marginal osteophytosis of its opposing articular surfaces associated with mild joint effusion. A distal inferior acromial osteophyte is seen slightly indenting the rotator interval roof.

Case Discussion

Chronic rotator interval injury; mostly due to impingement by the associated acromio-clavicular osteoarthritis.
