- heterogeneous vascular structure measuring 6.2 cm within the left adnexa, separate to the left ovary
- large volume of echogenic intraperitoneal free fluid
- the uterus is empty
- both ovaries are normal
Case Discussion
Ruptured left tubal ectopic pregnancy with large volume hemoperitoneum.
The patient's beta HCG was elevated at 850 mIU/mL.
The patient underwent laparoscopy and left salpingectomy, which confirmed the diagnosis.
