Salter-Harris type II fracture: proximal phalanx

There is a transverse fracture above and adjacent the growth plate in the fifth finger proximal phalanx base with slight extension through the lateral aspect of the growth plate.
Case Discussion
The recent fracture has a good prognosis as it does not extend through the epiphysis, where is the zone of proliferation.
