Non-contrast computed tomography shows severe dilatation of the lateral ventricular system and third ventricle, which greatly reduces the brain parenchyma and an associated deformity of the cranial vault. A VP shunt is in-situ. The fourth ventricle is normal.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates a severe hydrocephalus with a significant resultant skull vault deformity in the patient.
