Presentation

Prior injury 3 months ago, now presenting with weak shoulder abduction

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Ultrasound of the shoulder shows a supraspinatus tear.

Tiny spur is seen from lateral aspect of acromion process of scapula.

Case Discussion

There is a full-thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon, with approximately is completely 25 mm of retraction from the footplate.
