X-ray findings include:
- mass like fibrotic conglomerates in the pulmonary upper lobes
- calcified mediastinal lymphadenopathy
- parenchymal calcification
- mild pulmonary volume loss
Case Discussion
X-ray features, in this case, are consistent with silicosis with progressive massive fibrosis (PMF).
The patient featured here had a confirmed history of occupational silica exposure.
