A well defined ovoid cystic lesion is seen in right periurethral region below the symphysis pubis. It has high T2 and intermediate T1 signal intensity with no significant enhancement on post contrast study. The lesion is noted just anterior to the lower vagina almost off right to the midline.
A small cystic lesion is noted at the anterior cervical wall measuring 0.4 cm suggestive of a nabothian cervical cyst.
Case Discussion
Skene duct cysts are paraurethral retention cysts which occur secondary to inflammatory obstruction of the paraurethral ducts in females.
