Spinal arachnoid cyst

Fine localized fluid sheet at the anterior subarachnoid space opposite C6/7 down to D1/2 level more on the right side with no cord compression eliciting low signal on T1 WIs & high signal on T2 WIs (CSF like signal).
Case Discussion
As with any arachnoid cyst, spinal arachnoid cysts are CSF filled sacs contained by arachnoid mater. The degree of communication with the surrounding CSF space is variable with some cyst freely communicating and other not at all.
