MRI Lumbar spine shows bilateral well-defined cysts causing severe canal narrowing. Nerve root is seen traversing the cysts.
Case Discussion
Patient presented severe sciatica. MRI revealed perineural cysts (Tarlov cysts) at S1-S2 level. Yet, the vast majority of Tarlov cysts are completely incidental and asymptomatic.
