Presentation

Self-detected left testicular lump.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Homogeneous hypervascular mass in the superior left testis, isoechoic to mildly hypoechoic to surrounding parenchyma and causing mild bulging of the capsule, measuring 2.0 x 1.2 x 1.9 cm.

Case Discussion

The patient underwent left orchiectomy. The final pathological diagnosis was ectopic splenic tissue adjacent to testicular parenchyma, consistent with splenogonadal fusion, discontinuous type.
