Bilateral osseous bridges are observed between the 1st and 2nd ribs, with a pseudoarticulation on the left.

Case Discussion

Bony bridges of the ribs can be seen as a normal variant with no history of trauma (as in this case). This is known as Srb anomaly.

This is most common between the 1st and 2nd ribs, and is typically unilateral. In this case, it is bilateral with a pseudoarticulation on the left.
