Subacute infarct, vesicular neurocysticercosis

Presentation

New right neuro deficits.

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

Mild to moderate diffuse atrophy. Hyopdense defect left frontal lobe with the relatively hyperdense appearance of the gyri suggesting laminar necrosis, with some edema/swelling in the precentral gyrus.

Cysts in the posterior right temporal/parietal lobe junction and bilateral occipital lobes with small calcification. Small left frontal calcification without cyst. Old infarct involving the superior left cerebellum with volume loss.
